Congressman Stockman Honors Constitution Day

Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX) released the following statement about Constitution Day:

"Today we honor the blessings of liberty our founding fathers secured for us when they drafted and signed the Constitution. This day should further incentivize us to hold the Obama administration accountable for its unconstitutional, anti-American actions. It should also encourage more Americans to educate their fellow citizens about their rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, since many of our nation's schools fail to provide adequate civic education. As this administration continues to pursue unconstitutional executive actions and circumvent Congress on key domestic issues, we should be more inspired to defend the Constitution and motivate more Americans to restore our nation back to its founding principles."
